Indication:
Trelagliptin is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve blood sugar control in adults, usually in combination with diet and exercise.
Dosage:
- Adults: 100 mg once weekly, taken orally.
- Renal Impairment: Dose adjustment may be needed in severe cases.
- Pediatric Use: Not established.

Contra Indications
- Trelagliptin is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to the drug or any of its components. It should not be used in patients with type 1 diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis, or severe renal impairment. Caution is advised in patients with liver disease or heart failure.
